Crossroads Christian Connection (CCC) provides an opportunity for both parents and children to form friendships with other home schooling families. Our group can service the St. Charles County, Lake St. Louis, and Wentzville area. We are a non-political, non-denominational group who adheres to Biblical values. We believe the Bible to be inspired of God, infallible and the supreme and final authority for all faith and life; and that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Statement of Faith
The Bible, Old and New Testament, is the inspired word of God, verbally inspired to man, authoritative and without error in its original writings.
There is one God, existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in our Lord Jesus Christ's deity, his virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and death on the cross to provide for our redemption, resurrection, bodily ascension into Heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to earth in power and glory.
We believe that through God's grace we are given the free gift of salvation by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, who paid the price by his atoning death and resurrection.
Statement of Purpose
To enhance education through enrichment activities, cooperative learning classes, tutoring, and social events that uphold Christian values.
Co-op full participation classroom style environment that meets bi-weekly in Lake St. Louis. Our members are required to participate in during all sessions their child is a participant of, as a teacher or helper, and no drop offs are allowed.
Please Note: It is required that you be a support group member to be a part of co-op. Separate group fees apply.
There are four blocks (classes) for the day. A family can sign up for any or all blocks, their choice. There is a fee for each semester and some classes may have an added fee for the additional supplies that are needed. There is a lunch between blocks two and three. This gives parents and kids a time to meet and connect. To teach, a family must have attended co-op a previous semester to make sure it is a good fit for their family. Only teachers and returning members may utilize the very small preschool area. Those interested in attending co-op are often put on a wait list due to the small class sizes. The co-op catalog comes out twice a year, once in July and once in November/December. A co-op semester is 8 classes meeting every other week, currently on Fridays.
CCC Support Group
CCC Support Group is offered to support parents who have chosen to teach their children through home education. Here is a list of some activities and opportunities to connect with other home school families throughout the CCC year.
CCC Support group meets at various locations in St. Charles County (St. Peters, O'Fallon, and Wentzville) on a monthly basis throughout the school year. The majority of our meetings are informal gatherings at parks, libraries, and other public locations. We strive to have field trip and event offerings for our members; parties to celebrate major holidays are often planned. We encourage our members to be active in the planning process and to lead field trips/events which interest their family. Membership offers a way to connect to other homeschoolers in the area and has led to lasting friendships between parent members and between children. With membership, families stay connected through our website which lists our offerings on a secure page. Members can also make posts on our yahoo group with questions, last minute outings, etc. Many small group happenings occur through our membership such as book clubs, scrapbooking clubs, teen gatherings, and more. A small membership fee each year is required to join the group.
